Starting Off Serious

sad

Well hi there LTASers! It’s good to be back and posting roughly coherent ramblings on the Internet again. Today I’d like to open my return with a topic a little more serious than usual. It’s a little “dear diary” and I hope it doesn’t come out preachy, but it’s a subject I think is relevant …

Miniscule Altruism

This is Ted. Ted is dead.

Ted is sick. He’s dying in fact. He’s been infected by the fungus and it is slowly turning him into a zombie. One that will eventually wreak havoc on the rest of his colony. With a cough and a wheeze he begins a journey that will end with his death. Every step is agony, he …

On matinees and scary kids.

So due to a random series of events and circumstances I find myself sitting in heritage square with a chicken ceaser pita and the sun in my eyes. Flagstaff has decided to bless me with some beautiful weather and due to giving Geoff a ride I find myself in downtown, a place I rarely end …

“The one where Al whines a little” OR “Aw hell its 5 AM”

So its a quarter till 5 in the morning and I’ve managed to regress completely into my almost nocturnal state again. A rough way to begin Thanksgiving, but what are you going to do? I’m currently located in a small rift that has formed beween the air mattress and the wall of my room, giving …

Childs Play Charity and Desert Bus For Hope

Yeah the whole game looks like this. Except at night, when it looks the same but blue.

Hey all, as we enter the holidays I’d like to say something about my personal favorite charity and one of the events connected to it. The Child’s Play charity is an event run by the guys who make Penny Arcade, probably the biggest video gaming webcomic on the internet, funny stuff if you like games. …

Final Dress Power Outage, Or How I Learned To Stop Worrying and Love Overloading Generators.

So in my brief time as a “Courtesy Associate” for (Insert National Discount Store Chain Here), I found myself getting to know new types of customer service and customer behaviors. For those of you not in the know, “Courtesy Associate” is a poor euphemism for cart pusher. Truly, it was the finest career choice I’ve …

Alex: Day 1 of the Zombie Apocalypse

7:30 AM-I wake to the sound of screams outside of my window. In a cold sweat I lean over to my phone to check the time. It is at this moment I come to a dark realization. It is 7:30 AM and I have no intention of getting out of bed. I roll over and …

Alright then,

Lets start things off theoretical shall we? You ever get the feeling that everyone around you is specifically upset about something in their world. That everyone’s carrying some sort of weight or pain. Not necessarily involved in your own personal weight, but just their own little weight. Or massive weight, I’m not picky. Its a …

Hello all

Well I thought I’d start with with an introduction to my side of these ramblings. I’m a 20 year old ginger with a penchant for video games and the English language. I’m a theatre major and have a tendency to wax poetic. Especially when fighting a bout of depression, such as this current one of …
